This course also covers Business Data Catalog access to underlying data sources with a metadata model that provides a consistent and simplified client object model

Ojectives: 
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Create a Line-of-Business (LOB) system.
Explain Business Data Catalog (BDC) Functions and Operations.
Configure the BDC as an object model with metadata.
Use external applications in line with the BDC application definition.
Create a Finder method.
Implement incremental crawls in the database for indexing.
Configure a Business Data List (BDL) to display a list of items from a BDC data source.
Enable a single item query by creating a SpecificFinder method or identifiers for entities.
Use a List Web Part to display tasks or to retrieve information from the BDC definition.
Describe business data types.
